WHO ARE WE?
FCCA, Franklin Community Cable access, Inc. (d/b/a Franklin TV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental organization.
We create and publish informative, inclusive programs and content by and for all Franklin residents, businesses and town government
via three local P/E/G Cable TV channels for Public Access Programs, for School Events and for Government Meetings. We stream
live events via Youtube. We own/operate wfpr.fm, Franklin Public Radio, 102.9fm. We also collaborate in partnership with
Franklin Matters.org.
OUR MISSION:
To inform, educate and entertain while promoting the community good.
To be the citizen media center of Franklin.
To serve all who serve the public interest.
Writ
large, be it through TV, Radio or Text - we pledge to:
Make great local programming happen.
Make it easily, enjoyably accessible.
Make
it interesting, informative, entertaining.
Make it matter. Because Franklin Matters.
Make it something that
George Stoney (1916-2012)
would be proud of.
Who's George? Merely the father of Community TV. He's why we exist.
Be it the big little league
game, high school sports, the choral recital, the holiday parade, the local events, dedications and talk, the town meetings, the bully
pulpit - it's all community.
It's our community - Franklin.
George and others worked to make all this possible.
Again, Our
Mission: Follow George's lead. Make community happen.
Get folks to watch, listen, read, and engage.
Good on
you, George.
